LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT Dear Friend, The value of a school is evaluated by its purpose and success in realizing that goal. The purpose of Faith Bible College is reflected in its motto, teaching others to know Him and to make Him known. The name of the school likewise reflects our aspiration, Faith Bible College. BIBLE: God gave us His holy Word to first help us to know Him in an intimate and more personal, trusting way. He likewise gave us this Manual for Daily Living to enable us to navigate the rough seas of life and help others on the voyage. FAITH: Knowing God is the basic of faith. If you know a person personally you either trust them or you don’t. Imbedded in the fabric of every class at FBC is the element of generating “faith” in our students. COLLEGE: Academic excellence is at the core of our curriculum. Students deserve the best. Faculties are chosen with this in mind. Are we succeeding in our objectives? I talked with a gentleman just this morning who is a senior tax auditor for the State of Virginia. Seven years ago he was not attending church and cared little for spiritual things. His wife registered for a class at FBC and he agreed somewhat reluctantly to go along. He didn’t understand most of the theological jargon but the Lord “got hold of me through the teaching.” Since then he has taken several classes and now he teaches an adult Sunday School at his church, is a trustee and is the unofficial coordinator of activities. He states, “The classes at FBC have greatly enhanced my knowledge of the Bible, stimulated tremendous spiritual growth in my life and equipped me with skills to minister for the Lord.” Welcome to our web site and come join us for a class. God bless you! B.H. (Hap) Struthers, PhD Interim President
