Live-Streaming Information

What is Live-Streaming?

Live-Streaming is a way for you to attend classes at FBC without coming in to class! It is not "online school" because none of the classes are recorded - you will need to be live-streaming the class while it is happening, but this can be done from anywhere with a strong internet connection.
How do I Live-Stream a class?

You will need a computer with a webcam, a microphone, an internet connection, and an email address. A few minutes before the class begins you will receive an email with a link to join in the class. You will be able to see and hear everything that is going on in the class - and the Instructor (and classmates!) will be able to see and hear you too! All course work and tests will be emailed to you, or able to be completed online.
How do I register for Live-Streaming?

You will complete our normal registration process. When selecting the courses you wish to take (as part of registration) select the one that states "Live-Stream". We will take it from there and contact you with everything you need to know.
Who can Live-Stream?

Everyone can live-stream! If you live on the Southside in Hampton Roads, we'd really love to see you in class, for the most dynamic educational experience. However, we understand there are certain circumstances that make coming into class a hardship. If that describes you, then live-streaming will be a perfect fit! Normal tuition rates will apply.

If you live outside of the 5 cities (ie: Hampton, Newport News, out of State) and wish to Audit a class, we have a special live-streaming flat fee for you.
