FAQ'sWhat are FBC's credentials?
FBC is currently approved by ACSI to offer courses for which school teachers may receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Some mission boards readily accept FBC courses towards fulfillment of their requirements for prospective missionary candidates. Out of concern for accountability, quality assurance and credential recognition, FBC is preparing for national accreditation with the Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). ABHE demands high academic quality and institutional stability along with professional business practices. The school hopes to come into accreditation compliance by 2010. We are currently an affiliate of ABHE.
What about your facilities?
FBC utilizes a facility in the “Wards Corner” area of Norfolk. The building is within easy driving distance for areas of Hampton Roads. Attractive classrooms, a handsome suite of offices for the staff, and a fine library center make the FBC campus a comfortable home for a newly-launched Bible college. Especially noteworthy is our library center, which houses our fast-growing collection of theological and academic works. The College is also blessed to be partnering with a number of local churches which offer the use of their facilities for extension courses. |
