Prospective FBC students, whether taking courses for credit or auditing, must provide a written testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, have a desire to study the Bible - the Word of God, and have a desire to grow in Christian character.

In addition, prospective students desiring to pursue the two-year Associates Degree or the one-year Certificate in Biblical Studies must meet the following:

Students that are 25 or older do not need to furnish SAT or ACT scores.

Application Process

An FBC student application packet can be downloaded by selecting APPLICATION. The downloaded application must be completely filled out and either mailed or taken into the administrative office at FBC.

You may also request an application:

  • by phone (757) 423-2095,
  • by e-mail (registrar@faithbiblecollege.com)
  • by mail (Faith Bible College, Admissions, 6330 Newtown Road, Suite 211, Norfolk, VA 23502).

Acceptance is on a rolling admissions policy. Once all application materials have been received (including references, transcripts, and an application fee of $25), the application will be reviewed. The prospective student will be notified of the decision of the Admissions Committee. All application materials received by FBC become the property of FBC and cannot be returned.

Prospective students must complete an application whether taking courses for audit or credit. Those students who plan to take courses only for audit will have an abbreviated application process. Those students who plan to take courses for credit must complete the entire application process.
